An earthquake creates a mysterious crack in the ocean floor, which accelerates climate change. On the surface, the plot is great. I saw a lot of political aspects to a similar crisis. I saw how it would be interesting to see how many elements of both science and science fiction were incorporated into this story. I have no idea what the writer/director wanted to say or what he was saying. This is the most terrible, pretentious, and pointless movie I have ever seen. I saw the new Joker movie! It’s like the writers of daytime soap operas like Bold and the Beautiful made an environmental science fiction movie. Imagine the complete lack of scientific realism and the fact that the movie doesn’t allow us to focus on the characters, adding a lot of useless dialogue about emotions that are of no importance to the viewer.
